Upcoming Lenten Services
Theme – “Wounds”
In 1 Peter 2:24 we are told that “by his (Jesus’) wounds you have been healed”. The ultimate message of the Lenten season is that Jesus suffered enumerable wounds in His passage to the cross and grave. He was judged “guilty”, betrayed, abandoned, and scorned. While we continue to suffer similar wounds, it is Jesus’ sacrifice and pain that truly heals us.
